And here’s again talking about Tuscany countryside, this time the photo is at sunset and precisely taken from a phenomenal location that is behind the main square of Montepulciano. A terrace with a magnificent sunset front view where you can admire all the world famous beauty of the Tuscany
To make this photo I captured different exposures to have a good dynamic range between the sun and the countryside, the light was direct and very strong so I needed a good margin between the shots. WORKFLOW EXPLANATION
I blended the images togheder with the use of luminosity masks, with which I also increased contrast. For the first I corrected color cast, always difficult to make it later, specially with sun direction images. I increased details and sharpen in the whole frame, and corrected light and shadow using luminosity masks applied to curves adjustment layer. I used orton effect to increase glow and contrast in the picture, then with dodge and burn I lightened the sunrays and darkened some edges of the mountains
I increased glow effect in the picture to lighten the sky that was too dark after my blendings, so with camera raw I made some other adjustments about highlighs, lights, contrast and vibrance. After a little last touch of contrat I also created a small vignette to give more light at the center image
