The Truglia Tower is the symbol of Sperlonga, a small village in the central Italy with about 3000 habitants. The town of Sperlonga is very pretty and is included in the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy
I went around the tower truglia at the end of the day, unfortunately the sunlight was very much on right and I could not put it in the frame with the tower
To ensure the passage of pedestrians on the walkway I had to put the stand in an absurd position but in any case I managed to do everything 🙂
I make shots unitl the blue hour to see how the lights changed but practically I just worked the first shots, in this case the first lights was better
WORKFLOW EXPLANATION
I blended all the exposures with luminosity masks and I applied contrasts in the various part of the picture. I increased details and shadow light I also pushed up yellow lights in the highlights using a warming filter
Using dodge and burn I made some lights adjustments and using tonal contrast filter in Color efex pro I added a more detailed look to the closest wall and foreground
As final touch I fixed the warm lights on the tower and a more uniform look to the colors. I hope you will find this informations usefull, if you have any tips or question about it write to me. I’m always happy to hear it on you!
