There’s a place called Cilento located in the south of Italy, here are many natural wonders that deserve to be visited, one of which is undoubtedly the waterfall in this picture. It is called the waterfall of Venus hair “la cascata dei capelli di Venere” the name given to the waterfalls of the Capelli di Venere is to be found in the plant that covers the rock over which the falls flow. It is a fern named Capelvenere, hence the name of the falls, even if the one depicted in this photo is the secondary course of the waterfall

I took this photo at dusk, the last lights of the day can be seen faintly filtering through the vegetation, to compose the shot I decided to include the vegetation around the river to act as a framing

I captured the shots using bracketing and I launched exposure blending using TTS Pro panel for Photoshop in order to recover the darks in the brighter exposure. I increased details selectively, created a orton effect and using dodge and burn, I lightened the waterfall and the light coming from the trees and darkened some rock and other part of the foreground.

I corrected color cast than I increased color vibrance, as last step I created a soft vignette to increase the sense of depth of this image and to create a more mysterious environment

I hope you will find this usefull. Love to ear that from you!
