Hello guys, during my weekend in Milan I had also time for the classic site of the city, the Duomo. This is a gigantic Cathedral which is located in the main square of the city. The Duomo of Milan is the main tourist attraction of the city, much visited, very big and beautiful. Inside this cathedral, photography it is quite difficult cause this is a cathedral of Gothic style with high ceilings and dark walls as well as tacky tourists at all hours of the day, tripods within cannot be used and thus inevitably make the final result very difficult.
In return the Milan Cathedral has one of the most beautiful terraces of the city, until a few years ago, before the construction of the Porta Nuova and its skyscrapers, where we talked about in previous posts neighborhood, was the highest point of the city. I took several photos in this location including this evocative detail of one of the arches making up the tip of the Duomo. I relized this image from a Photoshop collage, using “vertorama”, I took three exposures for the part of the canopy that makes up the foreground and 3 other exposures to high, then part I combined the images with the Photoshop function, then I realized the main interventions with Camera Raw, various application for my actions, LAB coloring and Dodge & Burn will soon be my new tutorial 🙂
