Giuseppe Sapori - Rome Urbe
View of St. Peter Basilica by Sant’Angelo bridge. For me this is one of the top spots location in Rome to photograph. All of Castel Sant’Angelo area in general is one of my favorites of my city, the reflections which at sunset are located along the Tiber River, the last lights of the sky before sunset and the first lights of the city. I take 5 bracketed shots with tripod on the large handrail of the bridge during the blue hour

WORKFLOW EXPLANATION

I blended the exposures with luminosity masks, I used midtones mask to create some contrasts after the blend. I applied dodge and burn tool over the bridge to give more light on it and to darken more the sky. With the help of hue/saturation tool I decreased the yellows over the lights and make some color corrections in the image (increased blues).
I increased some details and sharpness in the whole frame using TTS Fast Panel, also applied a little Orton Effect. As final I adjust the highlighs and contrast again using luminosity masks applied to curves. It was a fast and easy edit in this photo, I hope that you find this useful, and you and what would you have done? Write it, I always love to hear from it from you
