Photographing in winter has always been a very special moment for me. I love the colors of winter and snowy landscapes. This in the photo is Lake Landro which, like all mountain lakes, freezes and is covered in snow in winter. In particular, I managed to find an opening in the snow with these ice nuggets that were perfect for my composition, I used focus stack between ice and mountain while while I was waiting for the right moment for the sun spikes. I captured al the elements in various exposures to have enough material to work on Photoshop.
WORKFLOW EXPLANATION
I blended the shots using focus stacking in order to achieve a full focused image to work on it. Using TTS Pro I increase details, added contrast, increased shadows and highlights. With dodge and burn tool I lightened some ice rocks. As last step I decreased the whole luminosity and lauched a orton effect to increse the glow of the sunflare.
I always hope you will find this usefull. Love to ear this from you!
