During my first day on the island of Hydra I decided to take a ride on the main road that surrounds the island from the port to meet a point from which to photograph the sunset from the cliff. The lonely rock a short distance from the coast caught my attention, it was straight to the setting sun on the right, the warm sunlight illuminated the cliff in a very delicate way. To make the composition more creative and add depth to the image I used a frmaing with the vegetation present along the road

WORKFLOW EXPLANATION

I used digital blending between the exposures in order to recover the informations I need from the shots I have. I increased selectively details around the cliff, used dodge and burn around the areas lightened from the sun

I increased the yellow tones of the light with a warm filter applied to luminosity masks, always using masks I corrected, highlights, shadows and midtones in the frame, I sharpened the rocks in the frame using the TTS PRO proper effect, than as final step I added a vignette and with the glow tool I painted over the cliff to bring the main attention to this spot

I hope you will find this usefull. I like to ear this from you!
