For truth, I wanted to wait to publish this picture, because as you know I always try to respect a chronological order in my publications, but soon there will be important news and for these I needed this image 🙂
What you see is the new district of Porta Nuova in Milan, near the train station is this brand new neighborhood with lots of skyscrapers and finance towers. As I said on my facebook page a while ago, Porta Nuova represented my top spots in Milan of my trip. I found this point with google maps that offered a beautiful view over the Unicredit Tower and that would give some depth to the cityscape. Unfortunately, once in place I found a giant construction site, that I fortunaly hide to the camera view.
To realize this picture of Porta Nuova I made several shots at different times of the day, starting at the beginning of the sunset and one hour and half after, in fact I tried to capture the different moments of the evening and then put them together in a single final image the light from the beginning of golden hour to the light trails at the end of blue hour. I am planning to make a video workflows on this picture, so I recommend yourselves to stay glued to my newsletter and my facebook page 🙂
