During my winter trip in the Dolomites, I took advantage of a beautiful day to take a little hike on the Giau Pass and take advantage here of the colors of the sunset. The sun that was setting behind me illuminating the whole pass with beautiful warm tones

I took the shot following a leading line of vegetation that seems to project the viewer towards the peak of the mountain in front of me, to make this I placed my camera very close to the ground with the intention of making the shot with different focus points

I captured several exposures with different focus points in order to realize a focus stacking between the shots, I captured focused bracketed shots on the foreground, the middleground and the background with another bonus image for the free from clouds mountain peak

WORKFLOW EXPLANATION

I started with a exposure blend of the images of the foreground, than with another blend of the middleground and than with the background, after this I added the bonus free from cloud image at my stack and I focus stacked all the resulting images for a final blended image

From this image I started removing with clone stamp tool some spots and other distracting elements on the frame, than with the use of luminosity masks I corrected the highlights, shadows and contrasts. I applied a warm filter to increase the yellow tone of the landscape and a orton effect to increase the sense of glow of the scene

With a selective dodge and burn glow tool I brightened some part of the foreground and the mountain in front of me, using TTS Pro I increased details and vibrance, as last step I decreased the luminosity a bit of the whole frame and the white tones using camera raw

I hope you will find this usefull. I like to ear that from you!
