This is one of my favorite locations for taking photos in winter, lake Calaita gives its best during the winter season and from time to time I return to this place to photograph its shores in winter with snow and ice. I usually find the lake frozen but this time I found it covered in snow, a different scenario but here in the same magical way with the light of the sunset that characterizes the peak of the mountain during the twilight
WORKFLOW EXPLANATION
I use exposure blending between the rock and the top of the mountain, than I increase details and shadows recovering some exposure on the cloud on the top of the mountain. I clean some small rocks on the path leading to the mountain, I use dodge and burn and sharpen on the main rock on the foreground and I correct color cast making the image more neutral and increase color vibrance on the whole frame
