Waterfalls always offer excellent photographic opportunities during autumn photography, these in particular are immersed in a beautiful forest where among hollow trunks, twisted branches and dense vegetation it is possible to admire all the beauty of autumn atmosphere I included this destination in my autumn workshop “Autunno in Tuscia“, you can find more informations here
Due to the particular shape of the rocks that make up the area, the waterfall forms a series of various vessels comunicating with each other. I composed the foreground to be closely as possible and the flow of water
WORKFLOW EXPLANATION
I captured a series of exposure for the foreground and another on the background in order to realize a focus stacking. So I create the focus blending image, with the result I made a exposure blending using TTS Pro.
I increased details, create a glow effect on the highlighs adding a warm filter to the sky. I generated a orton effect to intensify the glow on the image and with the help of dodge and burn I fixed lights and shadows over the areas of the foreground
With the glow tool I passed the area of the wood near the light to intensify the light coming from the sky and darken some overexposed areas in the water
As always I hope you will find this usefull. I love to ear this from you!
