I captured this photo near Passo Croce Carnico on the border between Italy and Austria, I shot this without any tripod holding my camera handhels with my 70-200 tele zoom lens when I noticed the clouds moving rapidly between two groups of trees that seemed to form a frame natural at the top. Framing is one of my composition guidelines I prefer, if you want to read more about it I suggest to read my article 7 composition guidelines for better landscape photography

WORKFLOW EXPLANATION

Even if I captured this image without any tripod I captured the image with a bracketing series in order to blend the image with digital blending. I corrected lights and contasts using luminosity masks  and I increased details selectively. I applied a warm filter to the highlights in order to increase the warm tone of the sunlight and as last step, I lightened some darks on the trees making the frame.

I hope you will find this usefull. I’m happy to ear this from you!
