I took this picture under one of the bridges of the Tevere river. Although the possibility of taking this picture with the help of a tripod, for practical reasons I decided to shoot it handheld since I had nice lighting conditions. As for the photo editing, after processing the image with Photomatix I imported the result into Photoshop, where I placed the areas that I did not like with layer masks and the original image. Then I added some other details using Topaz Detail and I edit on the lights and the glow of the sky using Photoshop filters. Finally I used Topaz Denoise to remove the loud noise, especially under the main arch, and to smooth the water on the right.
