The Capri Faraglioni photographed from Augusto’s gardens. I always wanted to photograph the Faraglioni with a soft sunset light for a long time and this year I finally had the chance. The two rocks on the left in the photo are overlapping and at first glance they look like the same rock.

This view benefits from the sunset light that falls in front of the cliff which for this reason takes on a shade of pink like the sky. Photo taken from two shots, one long exposure for the sea and one shorter exposure to capture more details of the sky

WORKFLOW EXPLANATION

I blended the shots to save the sky from the long exposure shots and other elements of the image, I add details to the whole frame, fixed lights and darks and the highlights to the sky. I applied a soft orton effect selectively. I add a soft warming tone to the image and applied a soft vignette to the foreground

As always I hope you will find this usefull. I like to ear this from you!
