We are at the base of the Cinque Torri, what you see is the small lake of Bai di Dones here during last December completely frozen. When I arrived at the place I started looking for a point of the frozen lake with the view of the mountain behind that was not covered with snow, I found this interesting opening that offered a beautiful view in the background with leading lines on the foreground
I waited until the golden hour began to color Mount Averau yellow tones, which from this perspective assumes the connotation of a tooth (hence the title of this post). During the shot I captured several exposures on the foreground, middleground to have all the different focus in the scene, including Mount Averau with a series of exposures to get the image in focus and as free from clouds as possible
WORKFLOW EXPLANATION
Before proceeding with the focus stacking between the various images captured with different focus, I proceeded to an exposure blend between the images using my panel TTS Pro. After this I blended all the images in order to create a final fully focused images in all the elements. I increased details in the whole frame, launched orton effect to increase glow atmoshpere in the scene, increased yellow tones of highlights to bring more yellows to the top of the mountain
With a brush and the yellow color I painted over the trees and over the mountain to intensify more the yellow tones and better enhance the sunset colors, I made the same with the foreground over the icy leading lines. Using luminosity masks I lightened the darks over the trees that was too dark originally and I fixed contrast and shadows in the image
As last step I decreased a bit the exposure and I created a dark vignette to make the mountain stand out more in the center of the image
I always hope you will find this usefull. I like to ear that from you!
