Giuseppe Sapori - Faster ride

For truth, I wanted to wait to publish this picture, because as you know I always try to respect a chronological order in my publications, but soon there will be important news and for these I needed this image ūüôā
What you see is the new district of Porta Nuova in Milan, near the train station is this brand new neighborhood with lots of skyscrapers and finance towers. As I said on my facebook page a while ago, Porta Nuova represented my top spots in Milan of my trip. I found this point  with google maps that offered a beautiful view over the Unicredit Tower and that would give some depth to the cityscape. Unfortunately, once in place I found a giant construction site, that I fortunaly hide to the camera view.
To realize this picture of Porta Nuova I made several shots at different times of the day, starting at the beginning of the sunset and one hour and half after, in fact I tried to capture the different moments of the evening and then put them together in a single final image¬†the light from the beginning of golden hour to the light trails at the end of ¬†blue hour. I am planning to make a video workflows on this picture, so I recommend yourselves to stay glued to my newsletter and my facebook page ūüôā

Defenceless

I was on the streets of Kalambaka when I saw this dark road leading¬†for the Meteors. The road was very dark, only a few lights in the distance created a bit ‘of light pollution, my personal goal was to portray some few stars. I take for this picture 5 shots (without BKT), one of which is much higher intentionally to bring it back with the exposing to the right and pull out the stars. Suddently a car, probably a¬†resident, has started to switch back and forth a few times.¬†Now, in addition to the curious fact itself, I do not hide that for a moment I thought he was observing me, the fact is that he ruined some shots which I then had to repeat it before. However, the passage of the car¬†allowed me to create an additional element to my photo, ¬†by inserting it in one of my shots to create such an effect full of sky and foreground.

As I said, I made this picture by taking several pictures, I used three of them in Photoshop:

-The first for the correct exposure of the lawn, road, meteors

-The second ETTR ¬†for the sky, that I worked in Camera Raw to allow the stars of “exit “outside

-The last one with the passage of the car on the road. ¬†I knew his movements ūüôā

Star Tree

Giuseppe Sapori - Star Tree

The Circus Maximus needs no introduction, is an ancient Roman circus used for horse racing and other shows. Today is a giant lawn with the stands.Passing several times over there I realized that the area is quite dark, especially in the middle of the Circus Maxiumus of the lawn there is a very low brightness, so I decided to make an attempt to photograph the stars, trying to believe it is managed well. What you see the beyond the tree you can see the lights of the city and the ancient Roman ruins.

But as I took this photo?

Like all the shots I had to help myselfwith a double exposure and especially with a click using the technique Exposing to the right where it was however necessary a big job of brightness and colors.

So I find myself back in my hometown to take pictures waiting my next trip, this is the left side that you see along the ¬†Sant’Angelo¬†bridge, in my opinion the best bridge over the¬†Tevere¬†river. This is a pedestrian bridge¬† Read more...that is crossed every day at all hours of the day by thousands of tourists because of it you can see straight to the¬†Castel¬†Sant’Angelo¬†and upleft citizen with a glimpse of the dome of¬†St. Peter. I made this image by five exposures, for processing I used the single exposures without merge with each other but taking the best from each display part to achieve the final result.

Isola Liri Waterfall

Tags :

This morning I was in the province of Frosinone and I came across this little village called Isola del Liri. In the main square of this place there’s this waterfall that runs between the buildings and urban construction. See it for the first time is so special as funny. This ¬†HDR is made from 5 shots processed in Photomatix. With Photoshop I increased the contrast, the level of detail and correct colors.
