Second shot¬†that I took to the chapel of Vitaleta in Val d’Orcia. Basically as you can see it is the same picture of the previous post but on the other side of the angle ūüėÄ
In the middle of such beautiful green fields I could not show you the other side of that view.

I advice ¬†to all ¬†to go visit the Val d’Orcia in Tuscany, I personally fall in love for this places

HDR Before/After – Vitaleta

I love the isolated places like this… the choice of the scene¬†in peace to wait for the right moment to shoot. In those moments you think only at the spend¬†of time without worrying about other things as often happens in cities with traffic cars and especially tourists ūüėÄ

I made this HDR¬†with ¬†five exposures with a gap of 1 (-2, -1, 0 + 1, +2). Then I merged the images with Photoshop CC with the function “Merge to HDR Pro”.¬†I have to say that I was in doubt whether to use this function or flatten individual as I usually only using layer masks, but for this picture the HDR Pro function was¬†very satisfactory so i kept this version.¬†The rest of the interventions were all made using Camera Raw and masking the effect in the desired areas. I work particularly ¬†in ¬†lights and colors effects, some detail has been added on the buildings and on the turf, as a final touch, I created a small vignette to give more depth to the image.

Before going to Val d’Orcia¬†– Tuscany, Italy – I read about the main places to visit in the area.¬†I really¬†was impressed by a¬†picture that¬†portrayed a little chapel in the green beautiful valley of Val d’Orcia. So after a brief search, I came to find out that this is the Chapel is of the Madonna¬†of Vitaleta near San Quirico. Going ¬†in this place for me was obviously a must, ¬†the chapel was not simply to reach because the road leading to the path of the church was closed by a gate, but after a good walk through the desert fields I reached my destination. What you see in this picture is the chapel of Vitaleta nestled in a splendor of sunset in the heart of the Tuscany¬†Val d’Orcia, surely one of the most evocative images of those I have portrayed in those days.¬†Now you just have to imagine to be here…

The Alpine Evening

Highly successful Startrail taken from Bassano del Grappa, the bridge from where I took the photo is the famous bridge of the Alpines (Ponte degli Alpini). This is one of the most famous bridges in Italy, built entirely of wood with a beautiful story of songs, conquests and reconstructions. The river that passes under instead is the Brenta river, which passes through many places that are located around the province of Padova and Vicenza.

Let’s talk about photograph, I realized the image of Bassano del Grappa¬†with¬†two series of shots, the first one to capture the exposure of the lower part of the picture, buildings and river,¬†the second one to capture the sky and the stars. Withe the exposures taken i put togheder the two series of shot simply using the layer maks in Photoshop.

This is the inside of the¬†Basilica of Santa Sabina¬†on the¬†Aventino¬†hill. It is considered one of the most beautiful¬†churches of Rome, located on the top of¬†Aventino¬†hill of Rome certainly more fascinating of all.¬† Read more...It ‘a very old church and not particularly worked, but to appreciate the perfection and precision of its forms.¬†Taking this photo was not at all easy, first because I had absolutely exploit sunlight that seeped from the large windows to avoid the whole church too dark then, as always, I had to wait for the long lines of tourists all day and all hours are in this church. After a few minutes and a few tips I could work…
For the realization of the final image I use HDR 32-bit technique so then I merged it with part of the exposures made to take advantage of all the available dynamic range.

Cilento¬†is a beautiful place in the south of¬†Salerno, every year, during the summer holidays, I decided to spend a few days around here to visit some my parents, and to take some pictures. The view of the mountains to the sea is the feature of this place, this is¬† Read more...among one of the most famous Cilento’s location to take panoramas landscape. To make this picture, I went in a place not far from the house of my parents called¬†Villammare. Before entering the village there is a small street where you can admire the landscape in all its splendor and a little later, the stairs that lead down to the beach, where at a certain hour of sunset is no longer anyone, ¬†only some fishermans. This was taken from the steps taking all¬†exposures¬†by hand (there was no room on the stairs to keep the tripod) ūüėÄ

In this picture we are the whole of the Basilica of St.Antonio into the heart of Sorrento. From the outside this looks like an ordinary church building, outside it is not too obvious about the typical shape of the churches, but inside as well as being beautiful and also reports of¬†considerable lighst shows. I come inside the church for curiosity before dinner time, the church was open and magically there was not even a tourist, so I took advantage of the moment where there was no one, unfortunately, as I said I was going to dinner and I had no tripod with me so I made all from a single exposure, but I think it gave its excellent results the same ūüôā

As I said in my previous post¬†Queen of Rocks¬†Capri is a small, beautiful and very exclusive island of the coast of Campania, I have been in neighboring areas several times¬†but I’d never been before on this island. The story has it that every time I’m around and¬†I want to make a daily trip to Capri the day that I¬†decided to leave it rain so much! This summer I was able to make me a very hardly day on the island and of course it was raining ¬†ūüėÄ … Oh well, what you see in the picture is the overcast sky that alternated with intervals of the day, but the subject is certainly the most important thing the Faraglioni ¬†of ¬†Capri are famouses all over the world thanks to the magnificent historical overview offered by the gardens of Augustus.

Sea Step

Giuseppe Sapori - Sea StepAnother photo at sunset from the beach of Split. During my stay in Croatia, in the evening I often did a walk on the beach drinking some beer and have a talk. In those days almost every evenings.
I wandered to the seafront in search of sights and interesting details. Honestly I have not yet figured out what is this thing that stretches along the coast. ūüôā I only know that giving some movement to the photo and the view. Regarding the editing I made five exposures to reach the final result that I worked primary ¬†on brightness and contrast. Now I work ¬†exclusively in Photoshop CC loading exposures as layers and processing them with layer masks.

Rainbow Overcast

Giuseppe Sapori - Rainbow OvercasstI took this photo in Hvar from the terrace of my hotel. What you see in this picture is the left side of the main harbour of the island, I made this from a single image, it is a single shot taken without a tripod leaning on a railing of the terrace. I mainly worked with the luminance masks and the Camera Raw Filter in  Photoshop CC to lighten / darken image elements.HDR
